Punisher 2034

There are a few characters that I must draw before I leave the earth and the Punisher happens to be one of them. I thought it would be interesting to create a near future version of him and since there weren't many variations of the Punisher, I figured he needed a new look. I did not use a reference for either pose, though I probably should have, and since this is just a concept, I kept the design a bit loose. I will more than likely  draw him again with less mistakes, proportionally,  and them move on to inking this guy , possibly leaving him in black and white. Hope you like the design and if you want to see more superheroes, stay tuned as I have many favorites left to draw.

BallPoint Pen Drawing

Every now and then I will test myself and use a ballpoint pen to make a drawing and keep drawing until I mess up to the point of no return. Well this image came out ok so I guess all those drawing exercises and contest between my friends in elementary( seems like yesterday) really paid off, well almost paid off (I'm still waiting on that break to get a job doing this for a living). I dont really know what I was thinking of when I did this piece, I know I wanted a giant beast slinging around a small mortal. After about 20 minutes I came up with the man and the beast and decided to make this look like an arranged battle, maybe to prove manhood to the onlooking tribe in the background. I am star wars fan so the first scene I thought about after looking at this image was the battle between Luke Skywalker and the Rancor at Jabba the Hut's...hut. Oh..I forgot to add this is on school paper too, which means I was probably bored somewhere and could not pull out my sketchbook in time.
